Hi John, Congrats, you picked up on a problem with the data that I have been tracking down for the last month and a half. I was hoping that nobody would be using the data before I could correct it. The problem came down to a problem with one of the databases being corrupted and having to be purged of the bad data. As of an hour ago, the data has been corrected. I would be using the following data: ftp://aftp.cmdl.noaa.gov/data/meteorology/in-situ/sum/ That data has been corrected and updated every two weeks. I can send you some of the High/Low reports and hourly averages if you would like. Not sure if anyone has done this previously, but I haven't been able to find any good climate summary on our network. I've been grabbing the files from: http://www.esrl.noaa.gov/gmd/dv/data/index.php?site=sum&category=Meteorology I've noticed what appears to be an issue with the 2-meter temperature data. For the last few months of available 2015 data, it looks like the reported 2 m temp has been coming from the column for the dew point temp rather than the 2 m RTD. The shift occurs at 14z on 6/11/2015, which appears to be when the HMP_TD sensor was installed. I'll attach a screen shot of my data file with that timeframe highlighted. The temperature jumps down by 3C from one line to the next. Regards, John
