Subject: Re: New TAWO Computer From: GMD Met - NOAA Service Account <_oar.esrl.gmd.met@noaa.gov> Date: 8/8/2017 19:13 To: Techs Hi Heather and Marissa, There are a few steps - first you need to install RealPort on the computer.  This is how the data stream gets fed onto Port 5 (or whatever port you specify).  On the NOAA Met network folder, there should be a folder named "Realport".  Run the program and fill in the following info: - Add a new device - Searching (will change to "Not listed")... choose "Not listed" and hit "Next" - Device Model Name: NOAA Met UDP - IP: 192.168.1.65 - Default Network Profile - switch to UPD - Port 2101 stays - # of ports = 1 - Starting COM = 5 (or whatever you choose.  this is 5 on the other computers) - Finish Once your Realport is set up, you can install TerraTerm and start it up like normal (selecting Com 5.  Terra Term's setup file is also in the Met network/ftp folder. Let us know if anything isn't clear or if you have questions.
